Bamboo shines like silk

This summer I have spun 400 g of bamboo fibres, it looks like silk. My daughter is getting married in Mai next year and I plan to use the bamboo to do a knitted lace stole for her. 

Here is a scarf made out of silk tie fabric which I had started in 2010 and finished recently. I added lace, beads and embroidery.

Seascape wrap

2010 has been a lazy year for me in term of spinning and dying. The presence of moths in this area has deterred me. But I did manage to knit this Seascape wrap from mohair I had spun and dyed in 2007.
