Socks - January 2014

I was sampling wool from different sheep breeds and Madeleine from the Burgundy Spinners and Weavers gave me some Manxx Laughton wool to try. I was surprised by its elasticity and thought it would be perfect for sock yarn. I bought some tops and mixed it with 30% mohair to add strength. The resulting yarn was very nice and soft.
